If you’re looking for a fun, feel-good workshop please check out one of our project based workshops; this class is for folks who want to really get into it, lecture style! Over 6 weeks students will get an in-depth overview of each piece of major equipment. Starting with the jointer/planer and moving on to the table saw and router students will get instruction on safety protocol, basic operation and beyond. Learn about a variety different wood materials, how to price material and where to buy it. Learn how to dress a board, laminate, cut dados, tenons, tongues, coves and more.
Bring a note book and bring your questions. The first hour of every class is lecture style with plenty of time for q n’ a’s and the last hour is irl test runs. We don’t make any projects in particular but we will run some test cuts and sample joinery pieces.
