Whether you’re completely new to woodworking or looking to build your skills, this beginner-friendly 6-week class is a welcoming introduction to the craft. Taught by former woodworking teacher and professional maker Kate Duncan, the course combines traditional and contemporary techniques with hands-on instruction. You’ll learn to use major woodworking equipment—including the chop saw, jointer, planer, and tablesaw—as well as explore router techniques, project assembly, sanding, and finishing too.
All materials are provided (solid maple, mahogany, cherry and/or walnut).
